Can't Live Without a White Top and Black Jewellery

Spring has sprung and that means ditching the black tops for refreshing white ones.

But, I'm not doing away with black all together...

That's because styling a black necklace with white natural fabric and jean skirt is an outfit I simply can't live without!

Shown here is my black circles necklace with my favourite linen Kabuki Tee by Paper Theory so exquisitely handmade especially for me by my friend Penny.

Look closely and also discover a pair dangling sculptures for your ears.

Both of these pieces are available in my online store at cerimuter.com.au.

Creative Possibilities from a Mundane Task

It is so invigorating when inspiration arrives out of absolutely nowhere!

That burst of visceral excitement upon realising the intricate lines and patterns of the inside of a leek and how there is the possibility of how it could transpire into an artwork is magical.

It is like a little test from Creativity to see if I am being attentive in the moment of what could be considered the mundane task of cutting leeks…!

It Was So Exciting, Claudia and I Went Out!

Hello!

Spring has sprung and I am super excited to be wearing the fabulous necklaces in my Squiggle Collection. It was an unusually warm and balmy day and Claudia and I were keen to get out and enjoy it, even if it was to go to the dentist!

Claudia is an interesting colour combo, primrose and blue. I wasn't sure what primrose was at first, so in case you are wondering it a cheerful pale yellow that balances perfectly with the deep attractive blue.

Each Squiggle necklace is one of kind in a way, although the same colour combos are used, every necklace in the collection is woven into a slightly different design.

Claudia is now available in my online store! Click here to get your very own Claudia necklace or maybe one of her girlfriends is more your style.

PS. If you are looking for some playful spring earrings, you'll find them here.

Two Thumbs Up and Double Denim

Two thumbs up to all the incredible Artists and Makers from around Australia that came together and donated more than $2000 worth of extraordinary handcrafted prizes for the Indie Road Magazine Giveaway. Fabulous community spirit I’d say and congratulations to Sue from SA for winning the lot!

Yup, I donated an eye catching linen and fabric arm knitted scarf and Sue decided she wanted the white and peach combo. Which means there are only two other colours left at the moment, find them on my online store here.

If you don’t want to miss out on the release of new spring colours you can join my mailing list.

As for the double denim I’m wearing… Fashion faux pas or a trend that never goes out of style?? I’m really hoping it is the later!

Fun fact: Double denim is also known as the Canadian tuxedo. So named because Bing Crosby was denied entrance to a Canadian hotel for wearing head-to-toe denim in 1951.
